These BIG accounting firms focus on providing services to Big Corporate America. Even if a middle market company was a client of a Big Accounting firm, they are probably not going to get the best service, as they are low on the client totem pole. So, the middle market company has been forced to just keep an accountant that they are really not happy with. Most people will get an accounting referral from a friend that says their CPA is good, but they typically don’t ask the question, “Why are they good?” We challenge you to ask the question. Do you want a good CPA that is fun to play golf with, or do you want an expert in your market and will help you save money? By the way, we play golf as well.
